Shield NxG at Lord's — A Special Day with ManageEngine & the Zoho Team

On 19 May 2026, we joined ManageEngine Shield NxG 2026 in London — identity, threat defence, and unforgettable moments at Lord's Cricket Ground with our CEO, the team, and new connections across the Zoho ecosystem.

On 19 May 2026, several of us from HealthCrew AI attended ManageEngine Shield NxG 2026: The Next-Gen Identity & Threat Defense Roadshow in London. Hosted at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground, the seminar brought together security leaders, product builders, and partners to explore what's next in identity protection and threat defence — topics that matter deeply when you're building healthcare platforms that handle sensitive candidate and compliance data.

A seminar worth the trip

ManageEngine's Shield NxG roadshow focused on practical, next-generation approaches to identity and threat defence — the kind of security thinking that sits alongside GDPR-aligned consent, audit trails, and zero-trust patterns we care about in healthcare hiring tech.

The sessions were sharp and engaging. But honestly, what made the day stand out was the people: open conversations, warm introductions, and time to connect without rushing back to a laptop.

Inside the seminar — my first tech event

Most of our photos from the day are out on the ground or around the stadium — but this one captures what it actually felt like inside the event. For several of us, Shield NxG was a first proper tech roadshow: badge scanned at the door, agenda in hand, raffle card dropped in the box, and that buzz you only get when you're surrounded by people who care about the same problems you do.

The welcome kit told the story — ManageEngine's London agenda for identity and threat defence, Lord's-branded tote and water bottle, pens, and a small commemorative tin from the venue. Small details, but they made the day feel real and memorable in a way a Zoom call never could.

Networking with the Zoho team

We had a genuinely good day meeting people from across the ecosystem — including members of the Zoho team. For a company building on Zoho integrations, webhooks, and operational tooling, those face-to-face conversations are gold: real context, real relationships, and ideas you don't get from a slide deck alone.

Our CEO — and a stadium like no other

Our CEO had a wonderful time throughout — soaking in every moment, from the seminar floor to the unique atmosphere of one of cricket's most famous venues. For several of us, it was a first visit to a ground of this stature, and it did not disappoint.

Walking the stands, seeing the pavilion, and stepping into spaces steeped in sporting history made the day feel special in a way a standard conference centre never could. That energy carried into every conversation we had.

Toasts at Lords The Club

We rounded off the experience with time at Lords The Club — glasses raised, stories shared, and that rare feeling of a team day that actually lands. A simple toast, a lot of laughter, and the sense that we'd done something worth remembering.

“It was my first time at a tech event like this — and my first visit to a stadium like Lord's. I left genuinely happy — proud of the team, grateful for the connections, and already looking forward to the next one.”

Why we show up to events like this

HealthCrew AI is building in public during Alpha. That means learning from the best in security and identity, staying close to partners like ManageEngine and Zoho, and bringing those lessons back into how we protect healthcare hiring workflows.

Shield NxG 2026 wasn't just a checkbox on a calendar. It was a special day at Lord's — good networking, good company, and a reminder that the best work happens when technology and human connection meet in the same room.
