After several rounds of interviews and assessments, we finally met in person on 24 April 2026 — great food, genuine laughter, and a warm welcome from our CEO that marked the real start of the HealthCrew AI journey.
Before the all-hands days, the roadshows, and the stadium visits, there was a single evening that changed everything: 24 April 2026. That was the day we met each other in person for the very first time — after several rounds of interviews and assessments that had introduced us on screens, in calls, and across time zones, but never around the same table.
From assessments to one table
Everyone arrived with the same quiet excitement: we'd passed the process, we'd earned our place, and now we finally got to see the people behind the names. The interviews had been thorough — technical rounds, culture conversations, and the kind of back-and-forth that tells you whether a startup is serious about who it brings on board.
Meeting face-to-face felt different. Lighter. Everyone had a really great time — not because it was scripted, but because the room felt honest from the first hello.
A welcome that set the tone
Our CEO was super friendly — warm, open, and genuinely happy to have everyone there. That welcome mattered. It wasn't a corporate handoff; it was a real invitation to build something together. You could feel that this was the beginning of a journey, not just another job start date.
Food, laughter, and the start of something
We shared a meal together — dosas, biryani, and the kind of spread that keeps conversation flowing. Plates passed, stories swapped, and the formal distance of interview mode melted away into something that actually felt like a crew.
“I personally loved this day. After all those interview rounds, to finally meet everyone and feel that warmth from the CEO — it made me believe we were starting something worth building. Here's to the milestones ahead.”
The journey from that evening
That April evening was day one of working together toward the startup we're building now. We've had bigger gatherings since — June all-hands, events at Lord's, contributors from across the globe — but this was the origin point: the first time the team existed in the same room.
We're still in Alpha. The road ahead has plenty of milestones left to hit. But looking back at 24 April, we're grateful for how it started — with good people, good food, and a welcome that made everyone want to be part of what comes next.
Here's to reaching those milestones — and to building HealthCrew AI the right way, together.
